A modern emergency doctor time-travels into the fantasy world onto a physician of the same name, Shen Yanchuan, who is labeled a heretic by the Physicians' Guild due to his surgical medical skills. He opens a clinic in a border wasteland where various races live together, hiring a group of marginalized alien employees including succubi, dwarves, dragons, elves, and witches. Here, medical treatment makes no distinction between noble and humble; nobles queue up, poor people buy on credit, and injuries and illnesses are treated not by magic but entirely by modern clinical methods. A heretic clinic not recognized by the rules, and a group of homeless outcasts, join forces to fight for the right of everyone to be equal.
