Rock guitarist A Fei hits rock bottom due to a wrist condition and betrayal by his former bandmates, forcing him to return to his grandfather's near-bankrupt old shadow play stage. Facing a huge debt of three hundred thousand and demolition threats from an overbearing boss, A Fei accidentally discovers that the manipulation techniques of traditional shadow puppetry can perfectly avoid his severe hand pain. To save the stage and its heritage, he decides to boldly fuse heavy metal music with ancient shadow play. When a distorted electric guitar meets traditional startling blocks, this oil-and-water grandfather-grandson duo must break generational prejudices and join hands to reverse their fate with an unprecedented audiovisual miracle at a music festival.
