The zombie virus broke out, and the orphan Cuiguo was infected when she went into town to buy wedding candy. After returning to Kaoshan Village, she mutated and lunged at her prospective mother-in-law, Qingshan Niang. Her fiance Lu Qingshan and his prospective mother-in-law remained steadfast by her side, discovering that she retained her consciousness and could roar back hordes of corpses. The two held a wedding ceremony to protect her, joined forces with Chen Jianghe and Sun Nan to develop a serum, broke through epidemic prevention checks, corpse tides, and the elimination plan, and finally cured Cuiguo and made up their wedding.
