On the night of Shen Mingyue's 22nd birthday, she receives chocolates from her roommate Lin Wei, while live comments warn of the latter's identity-swapping conspiracy. Lin Wei is bent on taking over her life and sets a massive debt trap. Coincidentally, the family's old golden retriever Fubao falls gravely ill, and an accidental body swap occurs. Lin Wei gets trapped inside the animal's body, while Fubao assumes human form to stay by Shen Mingyue's side. Later, related individuals plan to commit illegal detention, but Shen Mingyue and her father gather clues in time and call the police, bringing all illegal acts to justice.
