Su Xiaoxiao is reborn on the night before her miserable death. To avoid tragedy, she casts aside her vanity and perfunctorily sticks by the down-and-out, amnesiac Cheng Yu to save money and stay alive. Her gentle and frugal contrasting actions, however, make Cheng Yu increasingly obsessed and doting. After Cheng Yu's identity is exposed, Su Xiaoxiao proactively breaks up, accepts a huge sum of money, and flies far away. Blocked at the airport, she learns that Cheng Yu is also reborn; seeing through her scheming but still falling for her, the two join hands to eliminate past regrets and happily stay together.
