Xiao Lin, one of the first generation of extraordinary individuals, takes part in the dream-entry experiment known as the "Mysterious Journey" and accidentally enters another world contaminated by the corpses of gods. After narrowly escaping, he arrives in a shattered future two hundred years later. The Tianyan Research Institute has become a ruin, and he is trapped in the gap between reality and dreams.
