Jiang Jiang is a little book-transmigrated zombie who only wants to lie in a coffin and sleep deeply, but is yanked up by a system black cat to do missions. Her entire family consists of cannon fodder on the escape from famine path, destined to die completely—yet she refuses to let them! Able to see yin energy, catch bad luck, and make corpses "stand up" to help. Along the way, she picked up cannon fodder Fu Qingyao and Taoist Zhang Shoushan, a group heading north, only to run into an evil Taoist raising a corpse evil with the living people of an entire city. The little zombie is forced into business to level up, while a greater cannon fodder fate awaits them ahead. Laying flat? Non-existent.
