This film tells the story of an adopted daughter becoming a daughter-in-law, fulfilling grandfather's wish in a subtle twist of fate. In the 2024 Spring Festival, Yu Xiaoman brings her boyfriend back from Shanghai to Guangwu, and unexpectedly uncovers a family's joys and sorrows spanning more than half a century. Her boyfriend turns out to be her mother's long-lost son, and his grandmother, the elegant solitary old lady's lifelong love, is none other than Xiaoman's grandfather. After nearly fifty years apart, the two elderly people are able to rekindle their romance.
