Level 8 fitter Chen Feng toiled for fourteen hours to fix a machine tool, but was dismissed by the new director for taking a ten-minute nap, and had 100,000 in performance bonuses deducted. From then on, he only works according to work orders. After a layman took over, a 20-million machine tool blew up, and the factory faced a 30-million penalty for breach of contract. At this point, Chen Feng became an honored guest of the competitor with his unique skill. The boss who once looked down on him came to his door to beg for help.
