In 2024, fashion designer Chen Qiu soul-travels to 1982 into Chen Qiu, a fallen-in-the-water rural girl. Cousin Chen Dahua pushes her into the river to vie for Li Jianguo, and driver Zhang Ziqian rescues her. Chen Qiu calls off the engagement and demands compensation, uses her design skills to do wedding room decoration and marries Zhang Ziqian, but faces harassment from her mother-in-law, so she moves out to live independently.
