Lin Che, a young man returning to his hometown, arrives back in Qingshiwan with his luggage. Faced with a leaking empty courtyard, wary villagers, and skeptical tourists, he uses research, communication, and repeated small-scale trial operations to turn old houses, local mountain products, traditional snacks, and the old village paths into a modest cultural tourism project. Once the lights come on, even the quiet traditional craftspeople begin to join in, and the old village is seen anew.
