Unemployed, heartbroken, and buried in debt, Jiang Shengzhi finds himself in a desperate situation when he is bound to a sharp-tongued, double-standard system and forced to run an outrageously expensive street food stall! He sells Sichuan-style extra-spicy malatang for 380 yuan outside a proctology hospital, fried chicken drumsticks at a fitness center, and even makes customers write an English essay before they can buy clay pot rice. His bizarre business gets him mocked and embarrassed at every turn. But with genuinely delicious food, he wins over doctors, powerful figures, and internet celebrities. He humiliates his snobbish ex-girlfriend and mean former boss, takes on unscrupulous counterfeit vendors, and fiercely protects the quality of his ingredients. He refuses to waste a single cent of his enormous rewards, instead donating anonymously to disadvantaged people. Watch as this down-and-out young man and his little niece fight to survive against all odds and rise to become the city's most sensational street-food legend.
