Xu Guoqiang, a retired maintenance worker, has spent thirty years selflessly helping his neighbors. Whenever someone's pipes leak or a light bulb breaks, he is always ready to help at a moment's notice. But after a water leak incident, his neighbors pressure him into paying 30,000 yuan in compensation. He also discovers that the property management company has repeatedly forged his signature, attributing repair jobs he never performed to him. Having finally had enough, he decides to stop providing free services, sets clear prices, and establishes his own rules. Unexpectedly, the moment he starts refusing requests, the entire residential community descends into chaos, with his neighbors getting into one hilarious mess after another. As he uncovers the truth and regains his dignity, he also comes to understand that kindness is not an obligation, and family is what deserves to be cherished most.
