Lin Che, a city-based video editor, returns to his hometown to renovate an abandoned old house, only to be met with doubts: “Will anyone really watch videos like this?” He starts filming old objects, agricultural products, and villagers’ daily lives, using authentic footage to document the processes of harvesting, sorting, packaging, customer service, and shipping. After weathering order complications, skepticism, and improvements through teamwork, elders who once opposed the project voluntarily appear on camera to tell the stories of their land. Beneath the lights of the old house, the entire village completes its first properly organized livestream and cultural tourism short film, forging a new path toward rural revitalization.
