Zhao Defu, a retired state-owned enterprise employee, was scammed out of more than 80,000 yuan in pension money and happened to meet retired veteran Qian Weiguo late at night. One of them wanted to head to Tangshan to find the scammer and demand an explanation, while the other wanted to pay respects to a fallen comrade. Riding a red tricycle named 'Little Mountain,' they set off together on the road. Along the journey, they stirred up quite a few laughs and reaped the goodwill of strangers. Along the way, they accidentally discovered clues about human traffickers and cooperated with the police to rescue multiple abducted women and children. Their children noticed the elderly men had gone missing and anxiously searched for them, only to discover after catching up that the two old men had already become commended civilian heroes. Arriving in Tangshan, the scammer had long since fled; Zhao Defu let go of it with a sense of relief, Qian Weiguo saluted his comrade with a military salute forty-six years overdue, and the two men also reclaimed family affection and courage.
