After being deceived by his paternal uncle, Zhao Dehou, and working without pay for ten years, Zhao Mancang is kicked out and receives only his original investment of 30,000 yuan. He teams up with his good friend Sun Dazhu to lease a barren mountain and start a business from scratch. Armed with a traditional family herbal medicine formula and outstanding livestock-breeding skills, he transforms the barren mountain farm into a thriving enterprise. Facing malicious competition and poisoning plots from his uncle's family, as well as repeated business attacks from the provincial capital's Zhou Livestock Company, Zhao Mancang relies on honesty, expertise, and management skills to turn his fortunes around. He ultimately wins the gold medal at the National Agricultural Expo and becomes the leading figure in the county's livestock industry.
