A thrilling danger suddenly breaks out in a mountain village deep in the Changbai Mountains. The haunting, man-eating mountain ghoul is good at imitating human voices and disguising itself with human skin, mixing among the villagers to harm them one after another. Chen Qiusheng is the first to see through the true form of the mountain ghoul disguised as his younger sister, yet he falls into a crisis of mutual suspicion among the villagers. At the critical moment, he does not flinch, resolutely embarking on a dangerous mountain-crossing journey with his father to seek help. In the end, the People's Liberation Army arrives in time to shoot and kill the fierce beast, preserving the entire village. Chen Qiusheng proves with courage and responsibility that an ordinary person stepping forward in times of danger is the true hero who guards the homeland!
