Zhou Jingchuan helped his childhood friend, Zhao Mingyuan, transform a fish pond on the verge of bankruptcy into a wildly popular fishing venue. But just when the business became most profitable, he was kicked out. Obsessed with making money, Zhao Mingyuan and his wife kept increasing the number of fishing sessions, causing the water quality to deteriorate and the venue's reputation to collapse. One by one, longtime fishing regulars left. Zhou Jingchuan then took over an abandoned pond that nobody believed in. By sticking to his principles of understanding the water, understanding the fish, and following the rules, he eventually turned the neglected pond into the city's favorite fishing destination. Meanwhile, his former brother paid the price for betraying his trust.
