Gu Changshan, a dying hunter, is thrown into the woodshed to await death by his own parents and eldest brother, whom he has dutifully served, while his wife is forced to remarry another man for a bride price. Yet his wife, who previously endured hardships for him, not only remains steadfast by his side but firmly refuses to remarry. Just as everyone is certain that Gu Changshan is doomed, a wild boar smashes through the woodshed wall, and beast blood enters Gu Changshan's body, activating the "Ten Thousand Beasts Mending Heaven Art"—eating meat grants the power of beasts. From then on, he protects his wife and pampers his daughter, makes a fortune by rushing the mountain, separates the household, and fiercely stands up against biased malicious relatives and greedy profiteers, ultimately bringing honor to his wife and daughter and bringing all villains to justice.
