Three years later, Su Nuan attends the Lu Corporation annual gala with her 4-year-old daughter Lu Xiaonuo, where surveillance evidence of Lin Chuchu framing her is played on site, publicly clearing her grievances. Lu Xiaonuo recognizes her daddy in public, causing a sensation. Filled with guilt, shock, and remorse, Lu Chenzhou gradually investigates the truth, discovering that Lin Chuchu had long forged surveillance and financial evidence, not only framing Su Nuan but also trying to win Lu Chenzhou back. Su Nuan refuses an immediate reconciliation, insisting on her independence and dignity. Lu Chenzhou re-conducts a DNA test in the name of the Lu Corporation, and the results confirm with 99.99% certainty that Lu Xiaonuo is his biological daughter. Following this, Lin Chuchu is expelled from the Lu Corporation, hires people to smash Su Nuan's studio, and is arrested by the police.
