A mysterious channel connecting to a catastrophic other realm unexpectedly appears in young Lin Han's bedroom. On the other side, black rain shrouds the area, infected wander about, and the city is fraught with danger. To safeguard the channel and the safety of both realms, Lin Han promptly seeks help, entering the other realm together with professional rescue and scientific research teams to establish Base 01. Everyone uses modern technology to fend off crises and rescue survivors, working together with scientific researcher Su Wan to uncover the truth behind the infection and mutation, and stopping the conspiracy of plundering forces. As both realms continuously assist each other in resources, industry, and scientific research, Lin Han also grows from an ordinary youth into the core of the team, leading everyone to rebuild their homeland and guard civilization.
