Amid the snow and wind of a cold forest, Su Nanxing starts over with her mother and younger brother in a dilapidated courtyard. Gifted with the ability to hear the voices of all things, she rescues animals and grows medicinal herbs, using her hard work and wisdom to build a warm home. A weasel helps her scout the way, while kind-hearted villagers support one another. No matter what hardships she faces, she remains compassionate and down-to-earth, breathing new life into the abandoned courtyard and bringing smiles back to her family. Winter will eventually pass, and through courage and hard work, she welcomes the spring that belongs to her.
