After a tragic clan-annihilating catastrophe, Su Heng, like a dream, returned to the choosing-contract grand ceremony that determined the fate of the entire clan. Facing the eerily familiar scene, she resolutely abandoned the widely admired Silver Wolf, choosing instead the sickly red fox scoffed at by everyone. Little did she know that this red fox was actually the ancient Nine-Tailed Divine Honored Chi Li who had crossed a thousand years to seek her. Chi Li protected her through all thorns and obstacles, joining hands to pierce through conspiracies and pacify internal rebellions. Su Heng ultimately took charge of the clan power, abolished unfair contracts, and repaired spiritual veins, and the two walked from destiny's shackles toward a deep affection of rushing towards each other mutually.
