Zhou Bangping, the owner of a leather goods factory, captures an extremely rare two-headed snake. Everyone around him urges him not to provoke it, but blinded by greed, Zhou insists on killing it. He skins the snake, eats its meat, and soaks its gallbladder in liquor. He even sells a handbag made from its skin for the staggering price of five million. Around the same time, the beautiful accountant Liu Qingqing joins the factory. After starting work, her strange behavior seems less than human and more like that of a snake. Soon, bizarre incidents begin occurring throughout the factory, bringing misfortune to the workers, who fall ill one after another. Zhou Bangping's body begins developing scales and rotting sores, and he develops an uncontrollable craving for raw meat and even human flesh.
