Ma Debiao is a municipal streetlight repairman who one day suddenly hears a streetlight speak. The No. 13 light tells him a secret: all twelve hundred thousand streetlights in the city are surveillance cameras, and someone is collecting everyone's secrets through the lights. He runs into government service hotline operator Wu Guifen, and the two discover that the new stele is about to complete the "Purge List." Master Zhao Tiezhu sacrifices himself to become the "Main Station," and grocery store owner Qian Duoduo reveals herself to be the guardian of the spiritual veins. Seven sub-steles, three old lights, the lamp wick, and the speech spirit—Ma Debiao must gather his power within three days to fight against the stele spirit Zhou Wenbin, otherwise all the streetlights in the city will be permanently extinguished.
