Shen Shi is a chores-man who has been carrying water for the Qingxuan Sect for ten years. Judged to have a leaking spirit root, he is to be expelled from the mountain gate in three months. No person knows his body was born a riverbed: spiritual energy enters, flows through, and leaks out. After ten years of leaking, underneath that barren, dead field on the back mountain, a true spiritual vein was quietly nourished by him. The sect wanted to sell this ghost field to the Black Wind Sect. At the grand ceremony, the young master tested his sword, and his sword energy cleaved into the ground like water seeping into sand, jarring himself so hard he sat down. Shen Shi walked to the center of the field, pressing back the spiritual energy that had leaked for ten years for the very first time. Thirty mu of wasteland turned green overnight, the mountain-protecting grand formation lit up by itself, and grass grew along his heels all the way from the back mountain to the main hall's entrance.
