I have been taught since childhood to have self-respect and self-love, and to know how to guard my own bottom line. In my married life, I take care of family matters attentively, but during interactions, family members occasionally make unreasonable demands of me. Faced with moments of disrespect, I choose to express my attitude gently yet firmly, neither wronging myself nor intensifying conflicts, hoping only that within the family, everyone can have an extra share of mutual understanding and consideration.
