Su Ling'er, a blind woman who has lived in poverty for years, sincerely worships at an abandoned temple of Erlang Shen and receives a divine third eye bestowed by the True Lord. It allows her to see through all things and alter their appearances. Using her extraordinary abilities, she exposes all kinds of cheating tricks and repeatedly defeats numerous experts. Later, several county magistrates devise a test to assess her skills. Impressed by her exceptional abilities, they invite her to represent four counties at the royal card-playing competition in the imperial capital, where she will compete for generous rewards and glory for the imperial court.
