Xu Zhao, a jewelry designer, hastily marries Gu Yuanhang, a man with a mysterious identity. She initially believes theirs is merely a marriage of convenience in which neither will interfere in the other's life. But when Gu Yuanhang repeatedly disappears without a word, she discovers that her husband, who comes home only once a year, is actually a rescue worker who regularly ventures into extreme disaster zones.
