Chu Xian, who grew up in an orphanage, is reunited with his wealthy biological family, only to be misunderstood and kicked out because of a scheme by the fake young master. While wandering the streets, he is taken in by six flamboyantly dressed but kindhearted godmothers, who pool their money to support his education. Unwilling to accept his fate, Chu Xian studies hard and changes his circumstances through observation and effort. As they spend time together, he comes to regard the six godmothers as his real family. At his graduation ceremony, he publicly thanks the godmothers who have protected him all along and chooses to bid farewell to his cold biological family. Later, he starts a secondhand trading platform, supports his godmothers as they support him, gives back to the orphanage, and lives life on his own terms.
