Wang Hao, a poor young man who has just graduated and is unemployed, spends his days cooped up in his rented apartment. Just then, cultural relics mysteriously disappear from Qin Shi Huang's Mausoleum, prompting the police to launch a citywide investigation and offer a reward of 500,000 yuan. A scar-faced bandit being hunted by his pursuers accidentally flees into Wang Hao's apartment, leaving behind several ancient artifacts in the confusion. Together with his friend Zhang Chen, nicknamed Fatty, Wang Hao manages to subdue the intruder in a dangerous struggle. They unexpectedly obtain several Qin Dynasty oracle-bone fragments and a mysterious, ancient wooden box. What nobody could have imagined is that the box contains the very elixir of immortality that Qin Shi Huang spent his entire life searching for. This extraordinary opportunity, more than two thousand years in the making, has now fallen into the hands of the down-and-out young man Wang Hao.
