Jin Shi, a ninth-rank low-level immortal in the Temple of Wealth, has spent three hundred years on duty watching human prayer notes, witnessing the rigid heavenly way of wealth conservation, which uniformly judges ordinary people's prayers for survival as greedy delusions. With nowhere to turn for help, the suffering of all living beings turned into demon breath that devours immortals, plunging the three realms into turmoil. Jin Shi and the inspection immortal official Yun Miao descended to the mortal realm to experience the myriad aspects of human life firsthand, seeing clearly that most wealth-seeking prayers are nothing more than survival struggles under desperate circumstances. Above the Lingxiao Main Hall, he stood alone against the full hall of immortal officials, exposing the secret history of how the millennial wealth dao was distorted by later generations. To eliminate the catastrophe, Jin Shi offered his body as a sacrifice, shattering his immortal bones to recast the wealth prayer contract.
