Twenty years ago, Cheng Xiangyu, a girl from a poor mountain village, was admitted to university but faced dropping out because her family could not afford the tuition. While the entire village turned a blind eye, Zhou Shouren, a rural schoolteacher, sold his radio and lent her 100 yuan to help her leave the mountains. His words, "Don't accept your fate," changed her life forever. Twenty years later, Cheng Xiangyu returns as a successful entrepreneur, only to find her former teacher falsely accused and blocked at the school gates. The once-respected Teacher Zhou is now gray-haired and struggling to make ends meet. She puts aside her status to clear his name, build factories and roads, and establish scholarships. From 100 yuan to an entire road, from changing one person's destiny to shaping the future of a whole village, this is a story of gratitude spanning twenty years.
