Chen Jiahe, an agricultural sciences PhD from the capital, gives up a million-yuan annual salary to return to his hometown and help local farmers. However, his childhood friend Chen Shouye betrays him, secretly pocketing 7.98 million yuan in profits and humiliating him before driving him away. With the support of his girlfriend, Su Su, Chen Jiahe starts from five mu of abandoned farmland. Using his exclusive breeding methods and biological pest-control techniques, he launches a livestreaming campaign and begins his comeback. Lacking technical knowledge and recklessly overusing pesticides, Chen Shouye ruins his agricultural products and ultimately loses everything after being exposed for false advertising. Chen Jiahe not only wins the livestreaming competition championship but also leads the entire village to prosperity, transforming Jiahe Farm into a model agricultural enterprise with an annual output value approaching 300 million yuan. He makes a remarkable transformation from a down-and-out PhD to a leading figure in rural revitalization.
