Military academy student Lin Rui travels through time to an ancient age of chaos, carrying 25 kilograms of supplies. Hoping simply to survive, he is instead oppressed by corrupt officials and local tyrants. Driven to desperation, he draws his gun and massacres the county government before retreating to Eaglehowl Fortress. He grows potatoes to end the famine and transforms into a devilish drill instructor, putting ancient refugees through hellish training with modern tactics such as the three-by-three formation. When disciplined modern infantry squares, as rigid as steel, collide head-on with ancient heavy cavalry, this otherworld finally experiences a true dimensional technological crush!
