Reborn on the very day his marriage was being negotiated, he overturns the table on the spot. A bride price of 500 yuan, the three major household appliances and a bicycle, sewing machine, and watch—plus even his younger sister's job as the production brigade's tally keeper are being demanded. He's done with this marriage! Just after he breaks off the engagement, his fiancée sneaks into a shabby thatched hut and embraces an educated youth from the city. He lures everyone over to catch them red-handed and snatches back the ancestral jade pendant hanging around the adulterer's neck. The debts from his past life will be settled one by one in this life.
