Lu Chen is framed by his fellow disciple Shen Wuchen, who steals his achievements and leaves him to die in agony on the execution platform. Unexpectedly, he is reborn three years in the past. This time, he refuses to endure humiliation or back down. He exposes the conspiracy in front of everyone and reclaims the achievements and resources that rightfully belong to him. Through the sect tournament and dangerous secret-realm adventures, he repeatedly defeats his opponents with his formidable strength. After seeing the favoritism within his sect, he resolutely leaves the Xuantian Sect. Using his mastery of the sword, he makes a name for himself in Heavenly Sword City and clears his name of every accusation at the Swordsmanship Conference. With old grudges finally settled, Lu Chen lets go of his obsession with revenge, establishes a fair place for cultivation, breaks free from others' control, and lives a sword cultivator's life on his own terms.
