Lin Feng is reborn in 2010, escaping the tragic fate of his previous life, when he fell off a cliff while gathering medicinal herbs, became paralyzed, and lost his family. Unexpectedly, he acquires a mountain forest treasure-hunting system. To treat his sick mother, he ventures into the mountains to gather rare medicinal herbs, repeatedly thwarting Village Chief Zhao Dehou and his son's schemes to seize the Lin family's ancestral property. After recovering his family's ancestral land deed, Lin Feng reclaims the mountain forest and partners with his close friend Leizi and the Wu family medicinal herb merchants. Together, they cultivate Chinese medicinal herbs on a large scale, overcome repeated sabotage from their rivals, and build a thriving medicinal herb business. Along the way, he finds love and leads the villagers toward greater prosperity.
