Stubborn storyteller Lu Sanjin, unlucky swordsman Shen Zhui, cold-faced heroine Qin Zhaoye, sharp-tongued miraculous doctor Su Qinghe, and timid mechanism master Tang Xiaoman are framed as suspects in a locked-room case by divine detective Bai Wujiu. To clear their names, the five are forced to carry a mechanism sedan chair and hit the road. Along the way, they bickeringly investigate cases, cracking seven mystery lamps and serial bizarre cases, only to discover that an old case jointly buried by their fathers is affecting the entire Jianghu. The five least reliable people can only deliver each other's lives all the way to the end.
