Even Against the Wind, Flowers Still Bloom
Yun He senses that her husband Su Mu'an and Shen Nian are interacting closely and feels uneasy inside. Mistaking Shen Nian for someone else's daughter, she writes a letter to his "father", Shen Jianan, hoping he will step forward to stop the two from seeing each other. Unexpectedly, Shen Jianan replies to clarify that he has no daughter, and even implies that Su Mu'an has provoked someone formidable. Yun He and Shen Jianan arrange to meet in person to discuss the past and her suspicions in detail. Upon returning home, Yun He feels Su Mu'an's coldness and his emphasis on Shen Nian, and learns furthermore that Su Mu'an is going to host a banquet for Shen Nian, filling her heart with bitterness as an emotional entanglements among several people quietly unfolds.
