Locksmith and restoration expert Suo Yan returns to Lock Alley Community, determined to transform a quiet, old repair stall into a shared key shop. Facing doubts from veteran locksmith Uncle Suo, mockery during livestreams, and the destruction of materials in a torrential downpour, she refuses to give up. Delivery worker A Kuai, child Xiaodou, secondhand shop owner Old Tao, Granny Xian, and other neighbors all lend a hand, contributing discarded materials, handmade supplies, and traditional craftsmanship. Together, they overcome challenges involving safety and quality, launch old-lock restoration services and key-making workshops, and put on a children's educational play. As abandoned spaces are revitalized and the community market successfully opens, the veteran locksmith takes on an apprentice, and the community establishes a recycling system for old locks. With every restored lock, trust between neighbors is rekindled.
