Waking up from a nap, small supermarket manager Tang Xiaoman arrived in the 1980s. Faced with a job opportunity at the supply and marketing cooperative, relying on her skilled abacus and management experience, starting from organizing counters and clearing accounts, she sold unremarkable general merchandise in new ways, and gradually made her family's life improve. Along the way, steady carpenter Zhou Yuan made shelves and drew counters for her, earnestly keeping the wishes she casually mentioned in his heart. From a temporary worker to a regular clerk, from fighting alone to having someone walk alongside her, Tang Xiaoman calculated her own happy life in clear accounts.
