In his past life, Zhao Shanhe was a scumbag and a spendthrift, addicted to gambling, squandering his family fortune and causing his wife Su Wanqiu, sister-in-law Su Xiaoyun, and daughter Zhao Xiaoman to suffer endless hardships. Reborn back to 1980, he receives a hunting tally granted by the Mountain God: offering three sticks of incense daily grants three mountain hunting trails. In this life, he turns over a new leaf; the father who once severed ties with him hands the hunting rifle back to him; the daughter who feared him finally dares to throw herself into his arms; the despairing wife begins handing over the family keys to him. Everyone he failed in his past life, he will spend this life repaying with his life. With the Mountain God pointing the way and the hunting tally guiding the tracks, Zhao Shanhe's new birth has only just begun.
