Reborn back to 1975, Chen Jianhua became an idle fellow criticized by everyone in Qingshan Village, with seven children waiting to be fed at home. Wielding a firewood chopper to take root in the mountains and forests, he made a living with his skills and served as a mountain guard. Facing the overbearing neighbors in the village, he resolved their difficulties one by one. Seizing the opportunities of the times with vision, he took over and managed poorly performing state-owned factories, step by step revitalizing the industries. Carefully investigating and rooting out illicit personnel making trouble behind the scenes, he guarded important engineering supplies, ensured the smooth progress of scientific research projects, protected his family of old and young, and led the people of the whole village and county to live in peace.
