In 2030, Gu Chi, bankrupt and drowning in debt, collapses at his office desk. When he opens his eyes again, he has returned to 2010, the day of freshman registration at Jiangcheng University. In his previous life, he spent his entire fortune on Su Man, the campus belle, and missed the old residential compound outside the university's east gate, which was about to become part of a prestigious school's catchment area. This time, he won't chase the campus belle. Instead, he immediately snaps up ten old apartments and crosses paths with Liang Ning, a meticulous and miserly freshman at the law school. From renovations and property management to founding a rental company, the two join forces to fend off the sabotage, smear campaigns, and poaching attempts of He Jiaming, a wealthy senior. Step by step, they turn ten apartments into a successful company and keep the person they most want to protect by their side.
