Official's daughter Bai Zhi is articulate, eloquent, and kind-hearted. After marrying the gentle widower Gu Yanzhi, she meticulously cares for her stepson, confronts injustices by the powerful, and dares to speak out frankly in both the markets and the imperial court. Later framed by political rivals, with her stepson kidnapped by the prime minister's daughter, Bai Zhi navigates the crisis with poise, using her wits and eloquence to clear her grievances and expose the conspiracy. She is eventually bestowed the title "Golden Mouth Lady" by imperial decree, and the family of four finally achieves peace and fulfillment.
