The Nine Destinies Bell, guarded by the Tianheng Sect and sealed for three hundred years, has its destiny book suddenly descending with a prophecy, declaring that the Heavenly Gate will break and Xie Linyuan will kill Gu Xinghui. Gu Xinghui, whose destiny slot is blank, perceives that the destiny book first writes prophecies and then manipulates the wills of mortals. He and Xie Linyuan journey out, searching everywhere for scattered bell tones, gradually uncovering the truth: in order to avoid disasters and calamities, the Lord of Fate deleted the choices of all living beings, and the erased destinies converged into the Formless impacting the Heavenly Gate. The people of the immortal sects refuse sacrifice, recasting the Nine Destinies Bell with their respective autonomous choices; the destiny book transforms into a book of early warnings, and the crisis is resolved. Gu Xinghui and Xie Linyuan lay down their shackles, traveling together through the vast immortal realm.
