Chen Dayong, a miner in a mining area, has endured contempt from his relatives for years. When the foreman deducts his wages by giving him a bag of waste ore instead, he is publicly humiliated by his eldest uncle and cousin at the Mid-Autumn family reunion dinner. Unexpectedly, the seemingly worthless rocks yield glass-type Imperial Green jade worth 30 million yuan! Facing greedy relatives, his cousin's schemes, and a dispute over the old family home, Chen Dayong starts out in transportation, relying on honesty and ability to build Dayong Group and make the wrongdoers pay. Returning to the mining area, he gives up the huge profits from mining and spends his entire savings restoring the ecosystem, helping villagers develop tourism and homestays. The abandoned mine eventually becomes a landscape of clear waters and green mountains, and family ties begin to heal through remorse.
