Zhao Dashan, an elderly man living alone in a northeast rural village, has a tough exterior but a soft heart, and his days are rough yet lively. Worried about his father, son Zhao Xiaojun sent an intelligent companion robot. Zhao Dashan complained that it was nagging and simply named it "Tie Dan'er". Neighbors like Old Wang and Aunt Liu also joined in, with each episode being an independent short story featuring punchlines, twists, and human warmth.
