Shen Qinghe, a doctoral graduate in traditional Chinese medicine, unexpectedly travels through time and becomes a condemned woman from the Shen family, who have been sold into servitude after their conviction in ancient times. The blacksmith Lu Chenzhou spends fifteen taels of silver to buy her. In her previous life, the original Shen Qinghe looked down on him, blindly trusted a scholar, and eloped with him, only to fall into a trap. Fortunately, Lu Chenzhou rescued her. Reborn, Shen Qinghe changes her former attitude. She carefully notices his old waist and shoulder injuries and recognizes medicinal herbs growing in the wilderness. She plans to cultivate a vegetable garden and grow medicinal plants, gradually using her medical knowledge to help him recover. In these difficult times, she hopes they can build a peaceful life together.
